Q1. How long may we have the skip for?
A1. What are your requirements? We will endeavour to meet your needs. The average is 5 days or drop Friday pick up Monday and we offer monthly contracts with once or twice a week collections.
Q2. What can we put in the skip?
A2. Garden refuse, rubble, garage junk and recycling.
Asbestos and other hazardous materials have to be disposed of properly and not in our skips, contact us for advice. / Skips should be used to dispose of inert, non-hazardous waste i.e wood, bricks, metal, earth, household furniture, chairs, sofas to name a few. We are unable to accept asbestos, fridges, fridge freezers, gas bottles and tyres. If you have any queries about these items please contact our offices where a member of the team would be happy to assist you.
Q3. Where do you dump the contents?
A3. At authorised landfill sites.
Q4. How full can the skip be?
A4. To the level of the bin, anything over that will be removed. Skips must be level loaded - i.e they must not be filled above the edge of the skip. This is to ensure safe transportation. It is illegal to overfill a skip
Q5. Where will you place the skip?
A5. In your yard if there is a suitable flat area, if not on your verge.
Q6. Who fills the skip?
A6. You do, we drop, you fill, we collect.
